Yobe Province Regime through the Province Ministry building of Basic and Secondary Education has pardoned 5 principals who were suspended for laxity a few weeks agone.
Mohammed Sani Idriss, the Ministry building’s Commissioner, made this known via his Facebook page on Tuesday.
He posited that the suspension was lifted after thorough deliberations betwixt the Ministry building and the Teachers’ Service Board were made on the fate of the 5 principals where sure positions were reached.
“The principals, having served their suspension term, tendered their apologies with a written commitment not to allow hereafter reoccurrence of such laxity in the discharge of their official duties.
“The ministry building, thus, admits their plea and after lifted the suspension and directed them to resume their offices right away”, he posted.
In the post, the Commissioner commended the roles played by the some Deputy Directors from both the Ministry building of Education and Teachers’ Service Board who he said tirelessly ensured seamless academic activities in affected schools.
“Special advert must be made of the Vice Principals of these schools for their selfless service and present of love, patriotism, and unusual exhibition of skills towards the transformation and evolution of education in the respective schools.
“To the teachers we say a large give thanks you for your commitment”, he posted.
DAILY POST recalls that the affected principals were suspended after finding them absent from their duty posts when the Commissioner paid an unscheduled see to their schools.
