Saraki said that he became a medical Dr. to follow in the footsteps of his male parent, the belatedly Moment Republic Bulk Leader of the Senate Senator Olusola Abubakar Saraki, who was fondly called ‘Oloye’ by his friends and supporters.
Speaking at the 2021 International Health Summit, organized by the Nigerian Medical Students Organization (NiMSA) the former Governor of Kwara Province emphasized that existence a medical Dr., was in relation to serving the people in the community.
He famous that he is inspired by the next generation of medical professionals, particularly the doctors that he met and interacted with at the International Health Summit.
“In my household, existence a medical Dr. has ever been in relation to lending a helping mitt to those who are in demand. When I was 12-years old, I discovered that I wanted to be a medical Dr. — because, Oloye, my belatedly male parent, was one.
“Many years later, when she was in relation to the same age, one of my girl’s, who is at present in her 4th yr of medical school, declared that she too wanted to be a medical Dr. someday.
“This is why I was proud to witness the brilliance of the next generation of medical professionals — immature and inspiring student-leaders who have shown the capacity to organize each other around the urgent healthcare-related issues that bear on us all as Nigerians,” he wrote on his Twitter page.
