The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has said that the National Identification Number (NIN) would become compulsory for enlistment for its school endorsement assessment from 2022.
The Head of National Office (HNO) of WAEC, Mr. Patrick Areghan, spread the word about this at a news gathering on Tuesday, in Lagos.
The WAEC manager said that the NIN would turn into a significant prerequisite for enrollment for WASSCE for school up-and-comers with impact from 2022 and ensuing diets.
“It will be No NIN, no access,” he stated.
According to Areghan, this implies that all planned up-and-comers should enlist with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) and get their NIN.
He noticed that the advancement was in accordance with the Federal Government’s approach as coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Education.
“In agreement with the last worldwide schedule, our WASSCE 2021, will occur all through the sub-district from Monday, August 16.
