Saliu Raofeek who was pronounced needed over supposed robbery of a bike was captured on Tuesday in a famous general store in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
The Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, had announced Raofeek needed for the supposed offense since May 2021.
Spokesman of the guard corps, Babawale Zaid Afolabi, revealed this in an assertion in Ilorin on Wednesday.
He reviewed that the moderately aged suspect was blamed for taking a bike at some point in May 2021, yet sidestepped capture and vanished into the slight air with the affirmed taken motorcycle.
“All endeavors to catch him from that point forward demonstrated failed until he was gotten up grocery store along Taiwo street in Ilorin on Tuesday.
” Around 11.13 hours, on Tuesday, two agents from Akerebiata Division of the common protection corps who were on reconnaissance around Taiwo street in Ilorin located a presume who had been on the needed rundown for a while.
“The suspect was blamed for taking a bike and had since been on the run,” he stated.
According to Afolabi, the suspect is in care at the corps order base camp in Ilorin.
He would be charged to court after the consummation of investigations.
