Unknown gunmen have killed a pop Fulani herdsman, simply identified as Ibrahim at Agone-Are community in Ifelodun Local Authorities Area of Kwara Province.
DAILY POST reports that the latest onset, occurred barely few days after the reported invasion of a farm settlement at Oro-Agone town in the local authorities area where a life was lost.
The victim, Ibrahim, was gruesomely murdered at Agone-Are with the attackers still at big.
Spokesman of the Kwara Province Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Babawale Zaid Afolabi, disclosed this in Ilorin, on Fri.
He said the latest onset occurred on Thur nighttime as the unknown gunmen in big number stormed the premises of the cattle rearer and left him in the puddle of his blood.
Babawale, said the deceased blood brother, lost his life early this twelvemonth in a similar fashion at Ajegunle area of Are-Agone, of Ifelodun Local Authorities Area of the province.
“Yes, we got the study on Fri, through our Divisional Officer in the town, Najimu Lawal in relation to some other onset in Agone-Are community.
“This time around, a Fulani herdsman simply known as Ibrahim or Ibro, was attacked and hacked to decease by the assailants,” the spokesman stated.
He said a manhunt has been launched to apprehend the perpetrators of the criminal human action by the NSCDC and other security agencies, promising that no stone will be left unturned to convey them to justice.
According to Babawale, the incident, has been reported at the divisional police force station as efforts are on to arrest the masterminds and farther forbid farther attacks on the community.
