Two web fraudsters, Noah Omoregbe (a.k.a Frank Mark) and Destiny Efewengbe (known as William Scot ) on Wednesday were attempted before Justice Efe Ikponmwonba of the Edo State High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State.
The suspects were summoned on one check charge every one of personation and aim to cheat in opposition to segment 484 of the Criminal Code Law Cap 48 Laws of old Bendel State of Nigeria (as relevant in Edo State) 1976 which is culpable under a similar Law.

The respondents confessed to the charges.
In perspective on their requests, arraignment counsel, Ibrahim Mohammed requested that the court convict and sentence the litigants accordingly.
However, the protection counsel, Pascal Ugbome, asked the court to temper equity with leniency and honor the supplication deal arrangement between his customers and the prosecution.
Justice Ikponmwonba, in his decision, condemned Omoregbe to 2 years detainment with an alternative of fine of Two Hundred Thousand Naira ( N 200,000 ), while Efewengbe ( a.k.a William Scott ) was condemned to a half year detainment with a choice of Two Hundred Thousand Naira ( N200,000) as fine.
Justice Ikponwonba additionally requested that the things recuperated from the respondents during the examination be relinquished to the Federal Government of Nigeria.
