As reactions keep to trail the expiry of Vanguard reporter, Mr. Tordue Salem, the Government minister of the Federal Working capital Territory, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, has expressed appal over his expiry.
The Government minister in a statement on Fri said, the confession of a hit-and-run driver in the Mabushi area of Abuja is sorrowful beyond one’s imagination.
He commiserated with his instant household and prayed God to give them fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of the journalist.
The statement farther conveyed the Government minister’s heartfelt condolences to the direction of Vanguard Newspapers and the FCT Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists.
He extolled the Nigeria Police force Forcefulness Intelligence Bureau for its efforts in unravelling the circumstances leading to the demise of the journalist and called on members of the public to promptly written report all suspected criminal matters to the security agencies.
He urged the FCT residents to have faith in the administration’s commitment to ensure the security of all lives and asset within the land’s working capital.
