The Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum and Governor of Ondo Province, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo Province has described the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as a ‘Capo’.
According to Akeredolu who described Tinubu as a leader in the southern part of the country, he said was awaiting the arrival of Tinubu in tell to take critical decisions ahead of 2023.
Akeredolu, who is the Chairman of Due south Westward Governors’ Forum stated this during an interview on Occur Television on Dominicus.
Spell stressing that his recent see to the former Lagos Province Governor in London had nil to do with the 2023 election.
On whether he will back up Tinubu as Presidential Candidate of APC in 2023, Governor Akeredolu said only the political party where he is a fellow member will determine that.
“APC is a political party. APC will determine who the candidate will be. I have said it several times. I’m going nowhere. Whether I leave of absence APC, I am going dorsum to my chamber. For me, whatever APC decides,I will follow.
“We went to London because It was important for us to go and reckon for ourselves. How he’s doing. He’s the Capo for us hither. By the time he comes, we can create some serious decisions.”
