NEWS UPDATE: Three killed in fatal auto crash on Ilorin-Ogbomoso highway

Three people have lost their lives in a deadly car collision at Otte town on Ilorin-Ogbomoso parkway on Saturday.

Several others were harmed in the deadly auto crash.

Otte town is a few kilometers from Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

The two vehicles engaged with the accident, a pepper loaded Mistibushi pickup and a dark Toyota corolla private vehicle had a head-on impact, as per observer accounts.

The mishap sources uncovered was brought about by unnecessary speed.

The three casualties apparently kicked the bucket on the spot.

DAILY POST accumulated that the vehicle was coming from Ilorin, while the pepper loaded vehicle was going in the inverse direction.

The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Jonathan Owoade, affirmed the mishap when reached on telephone on Saturday.

He said three people passed on, while others supported breaks and head injuries.

Owoade said the harmed casualties were taken to the state General Hospital, in Ilorin, while the cadavers have been saved at the morgue.
