NEWS UPDATE: Tafawa Balewa’s daughter, others appointed heads of agencies in Bauchi

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has supported the arrangement Dr Yalwa Tafawa Balewa, girl of late Nigerian Prime Minister, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, as the new Head of Bauchi Agency for Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (BASOVCA).

Tafawa Balewa replaces Mrs. Hassana Arkila, who was suspended on eighteenth October 2021 over supposed misconduct.

The late PM girl’s arrangement and those of the other five heads of offices just as 15 extraordinary consultants were contained in an assertion endorsed by the Special Adviser on Media and Communications to the Governor, Mukhtar Gidado, and made accessible to DAILY POST on Tuesday in Bauchi.

“The heads of offices are – Babayo Madara, State Rural Water Supply Agency (RUWASSA), Dr. Sambo Alkali, Hospital Board and Yalwa Tafawa Balewa, Bauchi Agency for Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (BASOVCA).

“Others are – Nasiru Hamma, Chairman, Bauchi State Nomadic Education Agency (BASANE), Dr. Abdurrahaman Idris, Executive Secretary, Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board and Mas’udu Aliyu, Chairman, Drugs Consumables Agency,” the assertion read.
