A nursing female parent has allegedly been abducted by suspected kidnappers at Ngurore Constabulary Station in Yola local regime area of Adamawa Province
The Province Constabulary Public Relations Officer, DSP Sulaiman Nguroje told newsmen on Sun of the evolution.
He confirmed that the suspected kidnappers stormed the Constabulary station at in relation to 2am in the early hours of Sun and went absent with the nursing female parent, stressing that no casualty was recorded in the incident.
He explained that, “The criminals separated into 2 groups; one attacked the Constabulary station to divert the attending of security operatives, patch other grouping attacked Alhaji Umaru’s house and kidnapped his married woman, Hauwa Umaru, and her girl.”
The PPRO said the Commissioner of Constabulary in the province, Mr Mohammed Barde, has ordered the deployment of operational assets including Constabulary Mobile Strength (PMF), Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU), Cleft Squad and Anti-Kidnapping units to Ngurore.
DSP Suleiman Nguroje farther said operational units were expected to carry out confidence-boosting patrols within the hotspots in coordinated operations to ensure that the kidnapped victims are rescued and arrest the culprits.
The PPRO explained that the commissioner assured that the command was committed to working with other patriotic stakeholders toward restoring public tell in Ngurore and other parts of the province against men of the underworld.
He assured that the chief of the Constabulary Intervention Squad, SP Babagana Abubakar, was already on ground to coordinate Constabulary investigative surgery and rescue response to ensure the realization of the set objectives.
DSP Suleiman Ngoruje enjoined all citizens to go in relation to their normal businesses in peaceful and law abiding mode, patch calling on them to study whatever suspicious individual(s) around their neighbourhood to security agencies.
