Mr. Yomi Aliyu (SAN), the legal advisor to Yoruba Nation fomenter, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, has described how he was to be traveled to Nigeria on a holding up helicopter, subsequent to being captured in Cotonou, Benin Republic.
Aliyu who talked during ‘Plain Talk’ a radio talk program on Rave FM, said one of Igboho’s sibling going with him before he was captured was the one packaged into the plane making a beeline for Germany, not Sunday.
He said: “As at today (Wednesday) Sunday Igboho is as yet in police confinement in Benin Republic, explicitly in Cotonou.
“While they were battling with the sibling, he was packaged once more into the plane going to Germany; he was the one in Germany now, not Igboho.
“He was at that point in the plane in Cotonou en route to Germany with his significant other and his sibling was there as well. Someone fingered him out that he is a needed person.
“He was carried down with the spouse and sibling and a fracas resulted in light of the fact that he was to be traveled to Nigeria by a reserve helicopter.
“But the wife and the sibling set up a battle and began yelling at the air terminal, which pulled in some other Yoruba indigenes and they went to their rescue.”
