NEWS UPDATE: Suarez, Cavani react to sack of Oscar Tabárez as Uruguay coach after 15 years in charge

Uruguay strikers, Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani, have reacted to the sack of the country’s top dog coach, Óscar Tabárez.

The Uruguayan Football Organization (AUF) had on Saturday announced the departure of Tabárez from the command of his national squad after 15 years.

The AUF sacked Tabárez next Uruguay’s FIFA World Loving cup qualifying 3-0 defeat to Republic of Bolivia before this week.

Uruguay are at present in danger of lost the 2022 FIFA World Loving cup in Qatar next their latest defeat to Republic of Bolivia as they are currently in 7th location.

Reacting, Suarez, in a post via his Instagram account, left a heartfelt message to the Uruguayan tactician, who has been the only national squad manager Suárez has known spell playing for Uruguay.

The Atletico Madrid forward wrote, “Give thanks you for making the national squad place itself in values, elbow grease, humility, and work.

“Eternal thanks to you for teaching me to improve every time I reckon you because you have things to improve, and that is how you allow me know, and that’s why I will be thankful for all of you.”

“It is not a farewell; it is just a give thanks you for everything you have given to our football and our squad from Uruguay! Eternally grateful instructor and technical body.”

On his division, Cavani, a Manchester United striker, also wrote on his Instagram page, “I hear a few words but rattling broad feelings, THANK YOU, TEACHER, YOU LOVE IT A LOT.”
