The Southeast gathering in the National Assembly has responded to the sit-at-home request by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
The assembly mentioned their objective fact while denouncing the disturbance of the continuous Senior Secondary School Certificate, SSCE, Examination in certain pieces of the region.
The progressing SSCE was upset by associated individuals with the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, due to the sit-at-home order.
Reacting, the officials said the demonstration doesn’t depict the Southeast in great light.
The legislators expressed this during a gathering in Abuja.
The report peruses mostly: “Inspected the sit-at-home requests by the IPOB and the commotion some evil components have taken advantage of the lucky break to visit on the lives, properties, and mind of our people.
“The Caucus similarly assessed and lamented the limitless financial misfortunes and difficulties these have brought upon our region.
“Resolved to censure in most grounded terms the disturbance of the continuous Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination in certain pieces of the South East, especially the episode at Comprehensive Secondary School, Nkume, Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State, where the English assessment coordinated by the West Africa Examination Council, WAEC, on Monday, September 13, 2021, was savagely left by equipped men, who pursued away the understudies, instructors, and inspectors prior to setting burning cruisers having a place with the teachers.
“This is surely not who we are as a group. In actuality, we are a group, who have consistently treasured and empowered gaining from the ages.
“We are a group that completely like the spot of instruction in the freedom and edification of the human brain and the financial and political liberation of a people.”
