Shehu Sani, a previous legislator, has ridiculed President Muhammadu Buhari for lauding previous Deputy Senate President, Ibrahim Mantu, as peacemaker and scaffold manufacturer after his death.
The former federal legislator died in a private clinic in Abuja at around 2 am on Tuesday. He was said to have been sick for nine days.
And responding to the miserable news, Buhari, through his representative, Femi Adesina, sympathized with pioneers and individuals from the National Assembly, companions and political partners of the previous Senate leader.
According to Buhari, Mantu provided for the assistance of his kin and his tradition of compromise and advancement of tranquil concurrence will consistently be remembered.
Buhari said that Mantu got more congruity his state and the country at large.
And in response, Sani tweeted, “The Government lauded Late Senator Mantu as a scaffold manufacturer and a peacemaker.
“When he was alive, they couldn’t welcome him to construct the extension and wipe the slate clean in his piece of the nation destroyed by ethno-strict emergency. We disregard great individuals alive and acclaim their corpses.”
