One Samuel Echendu, who was battling for the conventional stool of Choba people group in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State with his more youthful sibling and momentum lord, Eze Raymond Echendu, is dead.
Echendu’s demise comes as a High Court sitting in Port Harcourt fixed 20 August for the judgment in a suit he initiated against his more youthful sibling over the legitimate individual to possess the conventional stool of Choba community.
The matter, which was at first suspended for judgment yesterday, Wednesday, couldn’t go on as planned.
Echendu, who kicked the bucket yesterday, endless supply of his nearby more youthful sibling Eze Raymond as the Paramount leader of Choba moved toward the court to invalidate the establishment and introduce him as the legitimate tenant of the conventional stool in accordance with Ikwerre culture and tradition.
A family source, who affirmed the passing, said Samuel Echendu was not debilitated and had arranged to go to court on Wednesday for the judgment when he imploded and was subsequently affirmed dead by a clinical doctor.
