NEWS UPDATE: Police shut Enugu APC office

The Police Command in Enugu has fixed off the All Progressives Congress (APC) office.

The move was made to keep harmony and control in the midst of the deteriorating administration crisis.

On Wednesday, 42 individuals from the State Executive Committee passed a demonstration of general disapproval on the state director, Ben Nwoye.

He is blamed for resistance to legal specialists and needing to balkanise the party.

The individuals told correspondents that Nwoye occupied with ridiculous wrongdoing and dismissed the APC constitution.

Deputy Chairman, Gilbert Chukwunta said he disregarded congress rules as spelt out by the Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC).

Chukwunta tended to the press close by the Secretary, Robert Eze; Women Leader, Oby Nwofor; Youth Leader, Joshua Mamah; Financial Secretary, Amaka Adonu, among others.

They censured Nwoye’s activities including one-sided initiation of ward chiefs, overlooking those chosen by the ward delegates.

The individuals said even the aftereffects of ward congresses of the gathering still couldn’t seem to be confirmed by the CECPC.

The authorities cautioned that Nwoye’s proceeded with stay in office would additionally energize the APC in Enugu.
