NEWS UPDATE: Police recruitment: PSC announces date for medical screening

The Police force Service Commission (PSC) has fixed Nov 22 for medical screening of successful applicants, who sat for aptitude examine in the ongoing recruitment of constables into the Nigeria Police force.

A statement by the Commission’s Chief of Press and Public Relations, Mr Ikechukwu Ani, on Fri in Abuja, said the medical screening would take hold in the 17 Zonal headquarters of the Nigeria Police force.

Ani said the successful applicants would be contacted and directed on when to come up for the screening.

He said the choice was reached during a articulation coming together of the commission and a delegation from the Nigeria Police force, led by Mr Danmallam Muhammed, the Deputy Inspector Full general of Police force (DIG) in charge of Preparation.

Ani farther stated that the coming together also witnessed the submission of written report and outcome of the aptitude tests held on Oct. 29 and Oct. 30 across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Working capital Territory.

He said the written report was received by the Permanent Secretarial assistant of the commission, Mr William Alo.

Ani said a total of 74,058 applicants sat for the aptitude tests across the country, consisting 62,588 males and 11,470 females.
