A presumed hijacker, equipped looter, and gunrunner in Kogi State, distinguished as Mohammed Bako has been captured by the Police.
Bako was captured by men of the Kogi State Police order in a pause and search activities along Idah-Anyigba street on twelfth August 2021.
In a proclamation gave to DAILY POST on Friday morning by the Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), DSP William Ovye Aya said the suspect was captured in a business vehicle with two (2) AK-47 rifles, 41 rounds of ammo, one (1) privately made Baretta Pistol, 6.7 MM ammo stowed away in a sack.
According to Aya, the speculate who hails from Koton – Karfe space of Kogi State had admitted responsibility for arms and ammunition.
“Investigation is being escalated. The speculate will be charged in court on consummation of the investigation.
“Members of general society are guaranteed that the not really settled to work in cooperative energy with other security organizations in the State to guarantee sufficient security of life and property,” he added.
