Constabulary in Jigawa Province has arrested 279 motorcyclists for violating the province regime’s enjoin on the restriction of motion.
Recall that the Jigawa Province Authorities had banned the movements of motorcycles from 9pm to 6am to check insecurity.
Constabulary Spokesman ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the arrest to DAILY POST.
He said the displace is section of measures adopted by the province regime to ensure maximum security of its citizens.
Shiisu explained that next the executive enjoin by the Jigawa Province Governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, the constabulary swung into activeness to ensure the total enforcement of the enjoin.
According to him “we were able to arrest 2 Hundred and 70-Nine motorcyclists across the Province and 2 Hundred and 20 3 90 have been charged to tribunal for prosecution” he stated.
