The Plateau State section of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has denounced the new killings and annihilation of properties in certain pieces of Plateau State
Rev. Steven Dangana, the Chairman of PFN in the state, made the judgment in an articulation on Monday, NAN reports.
Dangana, who depicted the terrible pattern as “appalling”, exhorted Nigerians, regardless of strict conviction, to endure each other for harmony to reign in the country.
“It is with trouble that the PFN has seen the perpetual and unjustifiable killings and obliteration of properties in Bassa, Riyom and Jos North Local Government Areas of Plateau.
“We denounce in entirety all types of killings and annihilation of properties independent of ethnic and strict affiliations.
“We especially censure the new killing of suburbanites on Rukuba street in Jos North; it is pitiful, shocking and regrettable.
“We feel for groups of the individuals who lost their friends and family because of these assaults and petition God to solace and allow them guts to bear the loss.
“We wish to encourage Nigerians to endure each other, that way, we will advance tranquil concurrence in our general public,” he said.
Dangana engaged inhabitants of the influenced regions to be quiet and decent, noticing that retaliation was not the solution.
He likewise approached the security offices to strengthen endeavors toward finishing ceaseless killings in the state and catch the perpetrators.
“We have faith in the sacredness of daily routines and the right of everybody to experience, travel and execute their business anyplace in peace.
“We are focused on working with government and security organizations for the food of harmony and serene conjunction,” he added.
