NEWS UPDATE: Osun PDP national delegates congress peaceful – Committee Chairman

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Political party (PDP) National Delegates Congress Commission for Osun, Admiral Rafael Osondu has described the exercise which held on Tuesday throughout the Province as peaceful.

He described it as one fundamental for progress and victory of the political party in the coming gubernatorial and national elections in the Province.

Osondu, who was speaking to journalists during the conduct of the delegates Congress, also commended the members of the electoral panel for aligning themselves strictly with the congress guidelines without fearfulness or favour.

Osondu maintained that delegates to the national conference elected in the Province, was in accordance with the structure of the political party.

He explained that moving circular some of the congress venues, in the Province, the high level of maturity exhibited by the leaders and members of the political party was commendable.

Before, the Chairman of the political party in the Province, Sun Bisi, thanked the leaders and members of the political party for according the congress commission members all the essential cooperation patch discharging their duties.

The Osun PDP chairman explained that the delegates congress was peaceful in all the local governments visited by the Commission, including Osogbo, Olorunda, Ede Southward, Ede Northward, Irewole, Egbedore, Ilesa East, Ilesa Westward and Ifelodun local governments.

He also charged the newly elected delegates to give the Province total representation at the national delegates’ conference.

The Osun Province Chapter of the PDP held its National Delegates’ Congress across the 30 local governments of the Province on Tuesday 5th Oct, 2021.
