The Osun Province Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Political party (PDP) has declared an cease to the leadership state of war betwixt Sun Bisi and Olasoji Adagunodo that has caused disunity in the political party.
Making this known in Osogbo during a chat with DAILY POST, the political party Chairman, Sun Bisi stated that the political party is no to a greater extent divided and aggrieved members have been successfully reconciled.
Bisi also stated that the political party is at present ready to dislodge Adegboyega Oyetola and the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the governorship place.
According to the PDP Chairman, “As you can view, the PDP is really peaceful and we have achieved a genuine reconciliation. All of us in PDP are at present together and we are good to go.
“We came into reconciliation because we don’t want to go along with this naughty governance and for that reason, we just have to reconcile ourselves.
“That tells you that we are one, solid and ready for the incoming election and I can assure you that we are going to defeat APC and the incumbent Governor Adegboyega Oyetola with a broad margin by the grace of God.”
Bisi famous that politics is all in relation to sacrifice and genuine involvement in the political party rather than giving out of money to individuals.
Recall that reconciliation was achieved in the Osun PDP when Olasoji Adagunodo, the embattled chairman was nominated as the S-Westward National Vice Chairman of the political party.
The quarrel within the political party also led to the defeat of Olagunsoye Oyinlola, the candidate of Osun Province for the place of Deputy National Chairman, S of the political party, a place which a former Deputy Governor of Oyo Province and former S Westward National Vice Chairman, Ambassador Taofeeq Arapaja is at present occupying.
Adagunodo’s nomination was on quarta-feira, Nov 17, ratified by the Southwest Zonal Executives of the political party.
