The Osun Province House of Assembly has adopted the reports of its House Commission on Finance and Appropriation on the presentation of the 2022-2024 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF).
The written report which was adopted during the plenary of the House on Tuesday was presented by the Chairman House of Assembly Commission on Finance and Appropriation, Taiwo Adebayo Olodo.
After a move moved by the House Bulk Leader, Maroof Olanrewaju and seconded by Chairman, House Commission on Finance and Appropriation, Taiwo Adebayo Olodo, the written report of the document submitted by the commission was also ratified and approved by the House of Assembly.
In his comment, the Osun House Speaker, Timothy Owoeye said the MTEF explained the financial objectives of the regime and described it as the province economical projection for the financial twelvemonth expenditure.
Owoeye famous that the written report of the House of Assembly Commission on Finance and Appropriation on the presentation of 2022-2024 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) Economical and Financial Update (EFU), Financial Strategy Paper (FSP) and Budget Policy Statement (BPS) came at the right time.
The Speaker also asked the Osun Internal Revenue Service (OIRS) to furnish the House of Assembly with the revenue generation for the yesteryear 6 months within 7 days.
He called on the province governor, Adegboyega Oyetola to proceed to lay before the House of Assembly the twelvemonth 2022 budget gauge of the province.
