The Kwara Province flame service, on Monday, rescued a burning Northern bound prepare set ablaze by a yet to be identified individual.
DAILY POST gathered that the prepare, which had a stopover at the Offa railway station, was heading to the northern section of the country from Lagos.
The spokesman of the flame service, Hassan Hakeem Adekunle, disclosed this in a statement in Ilorin on quarta-feira.
He said the province incident occurred at in relation to 17.15hours during a stopover at Offa railway station in Offa Local Authorities Area of the province.
According to him, out of the 15 coaches carried by the prepare, only 2 were seriously burnt..
The timely rescue of the firemen saved the prepare from beingness consumed by the inferno.
Hassan, said the DPO of Offa railway station, Ekemonde Oluwafemi, called the attending of the flame brigade to the incident.
Managing director, province flame service, Prince Falade John Olumuyiwa, urged members of the public not to hesitate to call up the brigade whenever there is an emergency in their areas.
He said it will go a long way to preserve the lives and properties of the people in the province.
