The Management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has declared the advancement and redeployment of some staff to fill essential empty situations in the corporation.
NNPC revealed this in an assertion by Dr Kennie Obateru, its representative, on Monday in Abuja, NAN reports.

Mr Garba Muhammad has been delegated to take over from Obateru as the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, as per the statement.

Similarly, Mrs Aisha Ahmadu-Katagum was elevated to the situation of the Group Executive Director, Corporate Services, while Mr Billy Okoye was selected as the new Group Executive Director (GED), Ventures & Business Development.
Until their new arrangements, Ahmadu-Katagum and Okoye were NNPC’s Group General Managers, Supply Chain Management Division and Crude Oil Marketing Division (COMD), respectively.
Also, Mr Adeyemi Adetunji, previously Chief Operating Officer, Business & Ventures Development, is presently the Group Executive Director, Downstream.
Mr Mohammed Abdulkabir Ahmed, once Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Services, turns into the Group Executive Director, Gas and Power.
Obateru likewise unveiled that other Chief Operating Officer positions in the NNPC were re-assigned as Group Executive Directors (GEDs), to line up with the principles of Company And Allied Matters Act (CAMA).
