The Nigerian Army on Tuesday cautioned Muslims people group and those calling for fight in Jos over the killing of 22 Muslims explorers in Jos on Saturday, August 14, 2021.
Recall that there has been a message coursing via web-based media, approaching Muslims to set out on fight over the killing of 22 Muslims voyagers in Jos.
Reacting on Tuesday,. Major Ishaku Takwa Military Information Officer, Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) said, “The consideration of Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH) has been attracted to a message coursing via web-based media approaching Muslim young people to set out on quiet dissent scheduled for later, Wednesday 18 August 2021.
According to him, “The message purportedly expressed that the showing is relied upon to initiate from Massallacin Jumaa Yan Dankali to Plateau State House of Assembly Complex.”
He said, OPSH is sending a solid admonition to those arranging this exhibition (in case it is valid) and the originator of the message to have a reconsider, adding that, the 24 hours time limit forced by His Excellency the Executive Governor of Plateau State Rt Hon Simon Bako Lalong on Jos North neighborhood government and 12 hour time limitation on Jos South and Bassa Local government region is still set up and we are completely sent to guarantee its enforcement.
“While, OPSH won’t have any desire to get gives together with the coordinators of the arranged dissent, it is enlightening to express that taking into account the delicate idea of tranquility on the Plateau this dissent is pointless and uncalled for.”
The proclamation further added that, the military knows that Muslim priests and pioneers have removed themselves from the arranged message circled and not on the side of the serene show, adding that, OPSH won’t permit any body or gathering to penetrate the delicate harmony in Jos metropolis.
