NEWS UPDATE: Nigeria police announces recruitment, issues directives to candidates

The Law, on Fri, said they would commence medical screening on Tuesday for successful candidates in the of late concluded Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the ongoing 2020 recruitment of Constables into the Strength.

The Strength Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Mr Frank Mba, said this in a statement in Abuja.

He said the medical screening was the next stage of the recruitment physical process and would take hold from Nov. 23 to Dec. 6.

Mba said the exercise would be conducted by the Nigeria Law Medical Services betwixt 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily at the designated Law clinics and hospitals in the 17 Law zonal commands across the country.

He called on candidates who participated in the CBT to check their application status on the recruitment portal, and impress out their medical screening slip, whether qualified.

According to him, candidates are to seem at the various screening venues in their make clean white T-shirts and shorts.

He said the National Identity Card/Slip and printout of the medical screening slip (as obtained from the portal) were mandatory requirements for the exercise.

Mba urged candidates to stick to their allotted date and time as the exercise would be carried out in strict compliance with the COVID-19 prevention protocols.

He reiterated that the recruitment exercise is unloose spell the medical screening would be conducted in the best tradition of transparency and professionalism.

Mba cautioned the applicants against beingness swindled by online fraudsters and other criminal elements who would want to take reward of the recruitment physical process to defraud them.

He warned that criminals would be arrested and prosecuted, advising candidates to ring 08100004507 for whatsoever enquiry, particularly on the operations of the portal.
