NEWS UPDATE: Nigeria exempts vaccinated travelers from COVID-19 isolation

The Federal Government has absolved completely inoculated explorers from the obligatory multi week isolation.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) affirmed the advancement on Tuesday in a Facebook post.

Chairman of the Presidential Steering Committee, Boss Mustapha reported the changed convention on October 15.

The Secretary to Government of the Federation said inoculated in-bound travelers might be needed to do a COVID-19 PCR test two days after arrival.

Mustapha noticed that unvaccinated and to some extent inoculated travelers should notice 7-day self-separation and do a PCR test on days 2 and 7 after entry.

Persons showing up on “Business” trip or on true obligation remaining under 7 days should be completely vaccinated.

They are relied upon to create contrary PCR result 72 hours prior to boarding, and direct a PCR test on day 2 in Nigeria.
