NEWS UPDATE: NDLEA arrests Brazil-based drug dealer, recovers 2.55kg cocaine

National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) operatives have apprehended a Brazil-based drug dealer, Okafor Okwudili Moses, over 2.55 kilograms of cocaine recovered from a bathroom at the E-Arrival corridor of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja, Lagos.

Femi Babafemi, Managing director, Media and Advocacy, NDLEA Headquarters, Abuja, in a statement on Lord’s Day, famous that the drug was discovered in the bathroom of the airport on Fri, Nov 12 after it was dumped there by a trafficker who was afraid of existence caught by narcotic officers at the airport.

It explained, “In the same vein, over 2, 832kg of drugs were seized and to a greater extent than 2 hectares of cannabis farms destroyed in parts of Ekiti province. Piece 2,582kg of Cannabis was recovered on Tuesday 16th Nov from Itapaji wood, Ipao, Ikole LGA, 250kg was seized from Ise wood, Ise-Orun LGA where the cannabis farm was also destroyed on Thur 18th Nov.”

It added that in Ebonyi, 29-year-old Ivoh Chukwuemeka accompanied by his girl Ogbonna Peace, 18, was intercepted along Enugu-Abakaliki expressway with 20.357kg cannabis on Fri 19th Nov. Similarly, 377.5kg cannabis was seized from at to the lowest degree 2 suspects: Lucky Okhian and Aaron Monday in Owan Westward LGA as good as Okpokhumi wood in Owan East LGA of Edo Province.
