Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has explained why he left Cristiano Ronaldo out of his squad to play W Ham to play in the Carabao Loving cup on quarta-feira dark.
According to the Norwegian, it is not “possible” for Ronaldo to play in every game this flavour.
Solskjaer made 11 changes to the squad that beat out the Hammers in the Premier League at the weekend.
Alex Telles, Donny van de Beek, Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard have all been given a chance to impress from the start at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils play host to Aston Villa in just 3 days’ time and it appears Solskjaer will appear to wrap Ronaldo upwardly in cotton wool wool whenever possible over the class of a long flavour.
When asked whether it was a good dark for Ronaldo to place his feet upwardly, Solskjaer told Sky Sports: “Yeah, you know, he’s come up in and made a difference already.
“But, of class, it’s going to be a long flavour.
“He wants to play as much as possible but I don’t think that is possible.”
