Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has explained why he dropped Cristiano Ronaldo for the see of Everton this afternoon.
The Norwegian has instead started with both Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani against Rafa Benitez’s men.
This is the first off time Ronaldo will be left out of the United squad in the Premier League since he returned to the social club this summertime.
Solskjaer said: “Good quarta-feira was a large travail, large emotional and physical output so needed to freshen it upwards.
“Start of this game is rattling important, got large players coming on too, we believe it’s a squad that can take charge of the game.
“They [Martial and Cavani] know they are good players, they know they are going to be rattling important for us.
“Whether we are to be successful this flavor we demand to rotate, care the minutes, we demand to create certain we are a large squad and we are together.”
