Barcelona’s legendary defender, Gérard Pique has said that the social club is currently suffering next their series of defeats in LaLiga and other competitions.
Atletico Madrid defeated the Catalan giants 2-0 at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano, with their former striker, Luis Suarez scoring one of the goals and Thomas Lemar firing in the other.
This followed their 3-0 back-to-back losses in the Champions League grouping stage.
Pique said Barcelona won’t be able to score a goal fifty-fifty whether the referees decided to add together to a greater extent 3 hours’ stoppage time during the games.
Speaking to Spanish media after the defeat to Atletico Madrid, Pique said, “Their goals have been 2 identical plays in which they scored twice with rattling little elbow grease,” as quoted by Mundo Deportivo
“And we could pass 3 hours playing football that we would not score a goal. It’s hard. We are suffering, I’ll be honest.
“There is not one job, there are several problems that people already can view. You don’t have to be blind to view what we lack, but despite this, I think we will recover from it.
“Many of us who are hither in the squad have not experienced it before. But the human relationship betwixt the players is rattling good, youngsters and veterans work together and there is a want to turn the state of affairs around.”
Barcelona have registered one win, 2 draws and 3 defeat since the finally international break.
