The Lagos Province Authorities has closed Vedic Lifecare Infirmary in Lekki.
The Health Facility Monitoring and Accreditation Agency (HEFAMAA) sealed the facility located at Plot 6, Olabanji Olajide Street.
Executive Secretarial assistant, Dr Abiola Idowu, said the infirmary was sanctioned for employing expatriates not certified to exercise.
“The facility was closed downwardly for engaging 3 foreign doctors and a nurse with unverified certificates and without licenses from whatsoever professional person body”, she famous.
Idowu explained that the closure does not bear upon the in-patients already admitted.
Chairman, HEFAMAA Governing Board, Dr. Yemisi Solanke-Koya, said there will be continual regulatory oversight of hospitals in Lagos.
