NEWS UPDATE: Kwara: Principals in trouble for collecting illegal fees from students

Kwara State government has plummeted on certain administrators fingered to gather unlawful expenses not authoritatively endorsed by the state government from students.

DAILY POST reports that the activity of the state government followed reports by certain guardians to the state Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development base camp in Ilorin.

The chiefs supposedly gathered illicit expenses separated from the supported Parents Teachers Association, PTA, government charges.

They have been questioned to fill in as obstacle to those still in the demonstration of gathering the illicit charges from students.

The state Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu, uncovered this at a crisis meeting at the service’s central command for certain directors fingered in the assortment of the illicit fees.

“Some guardians had answered to the service, that a few directors were charging over the supported PTA demands and furthermore gathering things not endorsed during the instruction partners meeting,” she stated.

Hajia Modibbo Kawu cautioned that the organization would not overlay its arms and permit saboteurs to extort or undermine changes of Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s driven organization in the state.

Schools fingered incorporate UBE Ita Ayisa, UBE Olulande, United Secondary School, Taiwo Isale, United UBE, Taiwo Isale and Oke-Aluko Junior and Senior Secondary School, in Ilorin metropolis.

Others are, UBE Ganmo, Senior Secondary School, Ganmo and Senior Secondary School, Amoyo, in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara state.
