The Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, has captured one Bello Muhammed, 28, for supposedly grabbing and physically attacking a minor while in captivity.
The order’s Public Relations Officer, Babawale Zaid Afolabi, revealed this in an assertion in llorin.
According to the representative, Muhammed planned with two different presumes who are still everywhere, to seize a 15-year-old young lady of llale town, Oke Ero in Irepodun neighborhood government space of the State.
They hauled the casualty to the shrub, tied her hand and assaulted her severally.
“On Thursday 05/08/2021, one Yakubu Kelani, 50, went to the NSCDC office in Omu Aran to report that his 15-year-old girl was seized headed to get water on the 29th July, 2021.
“The casualty was taken into the bramble where she was allegedly assaulted severally by her abductors who later reached out to the group of the young lady requesting for the amount of N15m as payoff,” Babawale narrated.
He said that the casualty’s family paid certain measure of cash to the ruffians who later delivered her.
However, karma ran out of one of the abductors, Bello Muhammed as he was gotten by nearby vigilante at Kara market, Ajase lpo town and was given over to the agents of the NSCDC.
During cross examination, Muhammed admitted to have perpetrated the wrongdoing with his two assistants who are still at large.
The two different suspects are Umar Abubakar from Ajase-lpo and one other essentially distinguished as Babuga.
In the interim, agents of the NSCDC are on the path of the two other escaping suspects.
“The Commandant NSCDC Kwara state order, Iskilu Ayinla Makinde, has been informed of the occurrence and has requested for guaranteed manhunt for the other two suspects while the captured suspect, will be charged to court toward the fruition of the examinations,” he further stated.
