The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), has censured in solid terms the killing of 23 voyagers at Rukuba Road, in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The Forum in an explanation gave by its Head, Media, and Public Affairs, Mr Abdulrazaque Bello-Barkindo, in Abuja on Sunday, depicted the killing of the blameless voyagers as primitive and senseless.
According to the Forum, the killing had every one of the hues of a few others, wherein local people in a specific piece of Nigeria had gotten unfriendly and unpleasant to different Nigerians living in or going through their domains.
It lamented the devious activities allotted on quiet local people, which brought about ridiculous unnecessary passings, focusing on that if not checked, it would reduce all Nigerians as a group and pull the nation down to the most profound openings of the shortfall of civilization.
It noted likewise that such activities cause a wide range of retaliation killings and damaging communications that benefit no one in any way in any piece of the country.
“The Forum sees with outrageous repugnance the appalling and neglectful loss of valuable lives and announce unequivocally that it should stop forthwith,” the assertion noted.
The Forum approached the country’s security associations to do everything it could to fish out every one of those included and present them to confront the full fury of the law to fill in as an obstruction to the individuals who are considering comparable action.
It noticed that no human existence has the right to be squandered on any ground either on strict or ethnic grounds, or even on the negligible raised area of mixed up identity.
The lead representatives’ Forum said it was time that Nigerians halted from going rogue so the nation could indeed turn into a protected spot for all.
It engaged all distressed ethnic ethnicities and their local army to stop unnecessary killings.
