NEWS UPDATE: Kidnappers demand N60m ransom to release abducted Maza-Kuka worshippers in Niger

Kidnappers have requested a N60 million payment from groups of snatched admirers in Maza-Kuka people group, Mashegu nearby government space of Niger State.

Gunmen had raged the Maza-Kuka people group in the early long periods of Monday during the morning supplications and killed around 18 people and captured numerous others.

A source who looked for secrecy affirmed that 11 people were snatched including the Chief Imam of the community.

According to the source, “They (criminals) called requesting N60 million as payment before those grabbed can recover their freedom.”

The source said the local area is befuddled, stressing that the 10 admirers seized at Friday’s petition close by the Chief Imam were still in captivity.

The source said one lady was who is currently expired, was killed in light of the fact that she shouted and attempted to run for her life when the aggressors arrived.
