The Osun Province Commissioner for Works, Remi Omowaiye, has stated that the province regime will facilitate the interpretation of speed bumps on the Kajola town axis of the Osogbo-Ilesa route.
The Commissioner made this known patch addressing protesters on Monday at the scene of an early morn accident involving 3 children of the same parents who were going to school.
Piece acceding to the people’s asking for speed bumps to be constructed on strategic parts of the route, Omowaiye, who was conducting an on-the-spot assessment of the scene, appealed for patience and to a greater extent time on their section.
He famous that the speed bumps will be constructed but and then it may not be instantly because the province regime will have to source for asphalt and due to the fact that nobody foresaw an accident of that nature on the busy route.
He appealed to the community elders to delegate representatives who will see with officials of the ministry building so as to make up one’s mind the spots where they want the speed bumps to be constructed.
The aggrieved youths of the town had demanded the instant interpretation of speed bumps as section of their demands before they cease their protestation and allow for unloosen flow of traffic on the Osogbo-Ilesa route.
DAILY POST had before reported that of the 3 victims of the accident, one had been resuscitated but can reliably confirm that all 3 are at present responding to handling at the infirmary.
