The Jigawa province regime says it has commenced the implementation of Basic Healthcare Provision Fund service at all the 279 primary Health aid facilities for poor and vulnerable groups in the province.
The Permanent Secretarial assistant Ministry building of Health, Dr. Salisu Mu`azu said this at a press briefing to score the 2021 Pneumonia Daytime at the province’s ministry building of wellness in Dutse.
The Commissioner explained that under the Basic Healthcare Provision Fund, over 42,129 most vulnerable persons have been registered to access unloose medical services in the province.
“Also under province Health Insurance scheme, over 250,000 were registered in which to a greater extent than 50% of the beneficiaries are children under 5, with precedence to pneumonia and shaver killer diseases”.
The Commissioner said the province regime has budgeted N28.7b for the 2022 appropriation to assist it attain Universal Basic Health Coverage.
