Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has insisted that the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, is responsible for the bloodshed in the Southeast.
Igbokwe made the comment in response to a comment by the Senate Minority Leader, Eyinnaya Abaribe on the killings in the Southeast.
Abaribe had said nobody knows those behind the bloodshed in the part.
Responding, Igbokwe charged the Senator to be true in his comments on the killings in the part.
In a Facebook post, the Special Adviser to the Lagos Province Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Drainage and Body of water Resources, said Abaribe knows that members of IPOB are responsible for bloodshed in the part.
“Senator Abaribe please take notice that I am from the Southeast and I am also a critical stakeholder in the part and Nigeria.
“You know it and I know it also that IPOB is responsible for the bloodshed in the Southeast.
“This is the truth and nil but the truth. Permit us for one time fright God and speak the truth so as to place the enemies to shame,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, the IPOB has continued to insist that it has no mitt in the violence rocking the S-East.
