Manchester City star, Jack Grealish, has contrasted himself with Lionel Messi as the two players affirmed their takeoffs from their long-term clubs this month.
Grealish, 25, formally endorsed with Man City on Thursday, leaving Aston Villa in the wake of going through twenty years with his old neighborhood club.
Messi, in the interim, has left Barcelona this late spring with the Argentine broadly expected to join Paris Saint-Germain.
But Grealish is currently saying that he sees completely why Messi was in tears at his farewell question and answer session to Barcelona on Sunday, adding that ‘he felt the equivalent’ like the Argentine.
“It was so intense. I think everybody realizes I revealed back for pre-season as I was intended to, I returned for a couple of days,” Grealish said at his basic public interview at Manchester City on Monday.
“It was troublesome. Toward the rear of my head I realized I may be going. I did somewhat all alone… Everyone perceived how Messi was yesterday – that is by and large the manner in which I felt. Before I left at the inn I addressed the group and the staff and the players and I teared up a tad myself.
“I felt like it was the ideal opportunity for me to continue on. I have consistently said the amount I need to play Champions League football. They have a football club here that has such a lot of potential. They are the best English side over the most recent 10 years. It felt the perfect time.
“I have been a Villa fan since I was four, my entire family has, I went to the club when I was six. There will consistently be joins there, particularly with the enormous family I have, everybody is Villa fans.”
