A herder, who essentially distinguished himself as Mohammed, has been captured with one AK-47 rifle in Ogun State.
He was captured on Tuesday inside CAC Oha woods, Iwoye-Ketu in Imeko-Afon Local Government Area of the state.
Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, affirmed on Wednesday that the suspect was caught when the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Imeko police division got data that “two youthful Fulani young men were located inside the timberland with one of them bearing an AK-47 rifle.”
Based on the data, the DPO was said to have assembled his men, who raged the woodland close by neighborhood security specialists like the trackers, vigilantes thus Safe corps members.
“After long stretches of brushing the backwoods, Mohammed was seen stowing away in the shrubbery with one AK-47 rifle, and he was expeditiously arrested.

Meanwhile, the State Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, has requested that the suspect be moved to the State CIID in Eleweran, Abeokuta, for additional examination, adding that the whole timberland be appropriately brushed to capture different individuals from his gang.
