Reports say a rancher, Suyi Bamisaye has been captured by shooters in the Ikole space of Ekiti State.
The casualty’s family affirmed this to DAILY POST.
The claimed snatching of Bamisaye is coming scarcely three days after certain visitors at an internment function were assaulted by gunmen
One individual was killed in that assault and two people were abducted.
Suyi Bamisaye was said to have gone to his homestead situated at Okejebu, in Ikole yet didn’t return.
His family said at about 6pm when they paused and didn’t see him, they began calling his lines to connect however no reaction until around 8pm when a call came in to request 5,000,000 naira ransom.
The family has now engaged security specialists and pertinent specialists to help with protecting the victim.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Ekiti Command, affirmed the grabbing, saying the casualty was stole on his farm.
Abutu said: “We got a data that the elderly person went to cultivate on Sunday and never returned.
“We have been given data about his development and our agents are exploring the matter.
“We appeal to our kin to be security cognizant at all times.
