A Ghana Premier League safeguard has scored two intentional own objectives to stop a ‘match-fixing plot’.
Hashmin Musah, Inter Allies focal protector put the ball in his own net twice in reason at the weekend.
Musah’s group were 5-0 down to Ashanti Gold when the safeguard scored in the last 12 minutes in the wake of going ahead as a substitute to make it 7-0.
The speed, force and exactness these hits are hit with shows it was anything but an accident.
Musah didn’t stow away toward the finish of the game and addressed columnists about his decision.
“After the game, my specialized group recognized me for ruining the bet they had marked,” Musah disclosed to Kumasi FM per Goal.
“I guaranteed my mentor that on the off chance that he permits me to play from the seat, I will ruin the bet. What’s more, after the game, my group saluted me.
“I heard it in our inn that a bet had been made for a right scoreline of 5-1 against my club Inter Allies.
“I chose to ruin that bet since I don’t excuse betting.”
The 24-year-old was subbed following his shenanigans and it’s anything but a hopeless season for Allies, who were consigned as base side.
