The Federal Government has said it would before long pronounce an extraordinary public day to praise the Senior residents of the country.
This was uncovered on Tuesday by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq in Abuja.
The affirmation was given when the supervisory group of the National Senior Citizens Center (NSCC) drove by its Director-General, Dr Emem Omokaro paid the Minister a graciousness visit in Abuja.
The Minister said, “We are mentioning for help for the NSCC to get the National enrollment of senior residents of Nigeria (SCN) who are 70 years and above.
“I need to guarantee the NSCC of my determination to follow on with the solicitation made by Omokaro, through the significant Ministries, Departments and Agencies,”.
The NSCC DG had before spoke to the Federal Government for the statement of a public day of more seasoned people in the country.
