The Osun Province Police force Command said it has discontinued investigating the circumstances surrounding the decease of a duo in Ilesa lastly Fri.
The household had requested a thorough investigation into what direct to their decease.
Notwithstanding, the spokesperson of command, SP Yemisi Opalola, said the 25-year-old son of the deceased sought a tribunal injunction to halt constabulary from farther investigation on the matter.
Recall that lastly Fri, a duo, Olasunkanmi and Fisayo Eso were found dead in their flat.
The 12-year-old belatedly duo’s maid, simply identified as Lara, who was said to have been living with them for 3 years was alleged to have poisoned the deceased.
The maid, it was gathered, was adopted by the duo at the age of nine and has been living with them till their decease.
Opalola told DAILY POST that the deceased’s son insisted his parents did not die of poisonous substance but generator smoke.
The constabulary spokesperson said, “The household filled a tribunal injunction to halt constabulary from investigating the decease of the duo. The son said his parents died of generator smoke.
“He said the maid was not affected due to the distance of her room to the generator house. They said they didn’t want whatsoever autopsy to be conducted. So we cannot go on the investigation to ascertain the cause of their decease”, Opalola explained.
Notwithstanding, the duo had on Thur been buried at their residence, Ireti Ayo, Imose area of the town.
