Arsenal hero, Paul Merson, has told Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, that his job is at present on the line because of how he has handled Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek so far this flavour.
Merson believes Solskjaer cannot acquire absent with it anymore, adding that the only way to acquire the best out of Sancho and Van de Beek is to hold playing them.
Van de Beek has played just 2 matches for Man United this flavour, patch Sancho is yet to smasher the ground running since joining the order from Borussia Dortmund.
But Merson believes Solskjaer must keep to give both players opportunities instead of having them sitting on the bench during Man United matches.
“Time wasn’t so long agone when playing poorly and having 2 players you forked out £110m for on the bench was a recipe for the bullet,” Merson told the Daily Star.
“No one seems to say a dickie bird these days, but that does not signify Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can acquire absent with it much longer.
“His job has to be on the line, particularly his inability to acquire a tune out of Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek.
“They seem similar their confidence is shot and, for me, the only way to acquire them upwardly to speed is to hold playing them.”
Both Sancho and Van de Beek will hope to characteristic for Man United when they take on Leicester on Oct 16 after the international break.
