Aston Villa hero, Gabriel Agbonlahor, has told Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, that he committed a sackable offence for benching Cristiano Ronaldo during the Red Devils’ Premier League 1-1 draw with Everton on Saturday.
Agbonlahor, who was clearly not happy with Solskjaer’s choice not to start Ronaldo against Everton, said the Norwegian would not win the Premier League for Man United this flavour.
Ronaldo had previously started all 3 Premier League matches since re-joining Man United from Juventus in the summertime.
But Solskjaer instead opted for Edinson Cavani to take the United onset line against Everton.
“It’s a sackable offence not to start Ronaldo in itself. Ronaldo, you have to play him, you just lay yourself under so much pressure level by not playing him, he has to start,” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT.
“He’s been brought in on likely £700,000 a week to play games and win leagues for Manchester United.
“He’s in that squad to win the Premier League this flavour. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not going to win the league for Manchester United.”
