NEWS UPDATE: EPL: Solskjaer is afraid to drop Ronaldo – Darren Bent

Former Tottenham striker, Darren Bent, has guaranteed Manchester United chief, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is terrified to drop Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has begun five of United’s six Premier League installations so far.

The 36-year-old was anyway left on the seat against Everton and came on in the second 50% of the 1-1 draw.

After that game, Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson condemned Solskjaer’s group choice, saying “you ought to consistently begin your best players”.

Bent accepts Solskjaer is presently too stressed over the reaction to drop Ronaldo, regardless of whether his quality is hindering to the team.

“[Pep] Guardiola, [Thomas] Tuchel and [Jurgen] Klopp have acquired the option to make enormous decisions.

“That’s no discourtesy to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer except for coming from Tuchel or Guardiola or Klopp, there’s a touch more weight behind it.

“There’s a strategy to their frenzy. On the off chance that they settle on critical choices, they’ve been there and done it at the world class level so the players become tied up with it.

“They’ve settled on those important choices previously, I recall Tuchel taking off Neymar at PSG. He is sufficiently large to do that.

“With Solskjaer, I’m not exactly sure he’s a large enough person or chief to settle on choices like that.

“It nearly appears as though since Fergie’s remarks and the reaction after the Everton game, he doesn’t need that again so for the discussion he’s leaving Ronaldo in there.

“However much that is conflicting with what Manchester United are attempting to do, it resembles he would not like to mess everything up so is leaving it as it is.

“When you get to the first class level, you can’t do that. You should be solid leaning and ponder the group, I don’t figure he’ll do that,” Bent said on The Kelly and Wrighty Show.
